Hello. This is Dr. Kei, director of Meguro Mirai Internal Medicine Clinic (Medical Corporation FU-WA), a 3-minute walk from the East Exit of Meguro Station and a 9-minute walk from Shirokanedai Station.

Today, we would like to share information for patients who would prefer to see a doctor in English.

English-Speaking Consultations

Our clinic sees patients with two doctors on duty.

The director (Dr. Kei) can consult in conversational English.

On Tuesday and Friday mornings, Dr. Katsumata, who is fluent in English, is available. If you would like a consultation in English, Tuesday or Friday morning is recommended.

What We Can Help With

Our clinic provides care for a wide range of conditions, including:

＊Common cold, influenza, COVID-19, and streptococcal (strep) infections
＊Abdominal symptoms such as stomach pain and diarrhea
Lifestyle-related diseases — diabetes, dyslipidemia (high cholesterol), high blood pressure, high uric acid, gout, and obesity — including detailed examination and treatment
＊Follow-up for abnormal health check-up results (liver function, kidney function, anemia, white blood cell, platelet, tumor marker, and thyroid function abnormalities, as well as abnormal chest X-ray and electrocardiogram findings), including referral to specialized, general, or university hospitals when needed
＊Persistent cough and bronchial asthma
＊Anemia and dizziness
＊Health check-ups (pre-employment, periodic, and various Shinagawa City health check-ups)

About Health Insurance

If you have a My Number Insurance Card (a My Number Card registered for health insurance use) or a Certificate of Eligibility for health insurance (shikaku-kakunin-sho), you can receive treatment covered by Japanese public health insurance. In this case, no additional identification is required.

For those without Japanese health insurance (for example, travelers visiting Japan), we also welcome you on a self-pay (out-of-pocket) basis. In this case, please note that you must present your Residence Card (Zairyu Card) or passport at reception.

What to Bring on Your First Visit

＊Your My Number Insurance Card or Certificate of Eligibility (if you have Japanese health insurance)
＊If you do not have either of the above: your Residence Card (Zairyu Card) or passport
＊A medication record book (okusuri-techo) or a list of your current medications, if you have one

In addition to cash, we accept a wide range of cashless payments:

＊Electronic money: transportation IC cards such as Suica and PASMO, as well as iD, QUICPay, and Apple Pay

【英語での診察について】

当院は2診体制で診察を行っております。

院長(けい先生)は、日常会話程度の英語での診察が可能です。

火曜日・金曜日の午前は、英語が堪能な勝俣先生が担当しております。英語での診察をご希望の方は、火曜日・金曜日の午前がおすすめです。

【診察内容】

当院では、以下のような幅広い疾患等に対応しております。

＊風邪、インフルエンザ、COVID-19、溶連菌感染症
＊腹痛や下痢などの腹部症状
＊生活習慣病(糖尿病、脂質異常症、高血圧症、高尿酸血症、痛風、肥満症)の精査・治療
＊健康診断の精密検査(肝機能障害、腎機能障害、貧血、白血球異常、血小板異常、腫瘍マーカー異常、甲状腺機能異常、胸部XP検査異常、心電図異常など)や二次検査対応。必要に応じて専門病院・総合病院・大学病院へのご紹介も行います
＊長引く咳、気管支喘息
＊貧血やめまい
＊健康診断(雇入れ健康診断・定期健康診断・品川区各種健康診断など)

【健康保険について】

マイナ保険証(健康保険証として登録されたマイナンバーカード)または資格確認書をお持ちの方は、日本の公的医療保険による診療を受けていただけます。この場合、その他の本人確認書類のご提出は不要です。

日本の健康保険をお持ちでない方(訪日中の旅行者の方など)は、自費診療として受診いただけます。この場合、受付時に在留カードまたはパスポートのご提示が必須となりますので、ご注意ください。

マイナ保険証または資格確認書(日本の健康保険をお持ちの方)
上記いずれもお持ちでない方:在留カードまたはパスポート
お薬手帳または現在服用中のお薬がわかるもの(お持ちの場合)
